Mid-century modern living room ditches warm stained finishes and a dark interior for cool neutral tones to honor its architecture

The  living room of the sixty-one-year-old condo had good bones, but its finishes were dark and dated. It also didn’t serve the needs of the active family of three that needed a multifunctional living space.

Honoring its mid-century modern roots, SkB Architects gave the room an overhaul and better connection to the adjacent dining and outdoor spaces.
